These paintings are extensions of my BFA collection that were not included in my graduating show. I created these two works earlier in my college career, during a period when I was working through artist’s block, learning to find inspiration in the pre-painting brainstorming process, and exploring the relationship between two-dimensional and three-dimensional space. Both pieces played an important role in guiding the direction of my later work.
